I have been blogging a lot at &lt;a href="http://www.whattoexpect.com/blog/mommythirtysomethingrookie"&gt;Mommy - Thirtysomething Rookie&lt;/a&gt;. I am really enjoying blogging about my experiences as being a mom.&amp;nbsp; My other reason for not blogging is that I have not had anything to report. I slacked off all summer long. But last Tuesday, I started back to Weight Watchers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The good news is I only gained 3 pounds. I have been back on program for a week now. I lost .8lbs the first week. But I was not completely committed to getting back on program. I ate moderately last week, but my downfall was that I drank more alcohol this past weekend then I have in the last month. I was with good friends and had &lt;strike&gt;good&lt;/strike&gt; cheap wine. It just flowed freely from the bottle to my glass.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I just weighed in yesterday and I ate really well all day until the late evening when I decided I was going to make some nachos. Now I only had tortilla chips with melted cheese on them, but never the less, it put me over my points allowance. But I am BACK on track today. I have only used 8pts today. I'm not hungry either. I also have an apple for a snack later.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As for the exercising, I have started back with my lunch time workouts. I try to do cardio for 16 minutes as hard as I can, 2-3 days a week followed by some ab exercises or lifting weight for my arms.&amp;nbsp; Then 1-2 days a week I do a lifting workout. I am trying to shed the rest of my baby weight. So that is why I am doing more cardio than lifting. Once I get closer to my goal weight, I will switch to doing more lifting workouts to gain more muscle. At least that is my game plan.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I hope everyone is doing well with their goals. Am I on track or do I need to make some adjustments or make some of the goals more specific. So lets see how I am doing:&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;1.&lt;/b&gt; &lt;b&gt;Be the best mom &amp;amp;wife, I can be.&lt;/b&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;I am most definitely more comfortable in my mommy role as time goes by. I do trust my instincts but still seek others advice. As for wife, I am a good wife but I still feel I could do better. So I guess I need to work on it. Of course these are both things that continue to grow and change over time so I will always be working on these.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;2.&lt;/b&gt; &lt;b&gt;Take better care of myself.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;I was doing really well for the first 4 months but have really slacked off lately. But I am currently getting myself back on track. I have lost weight but still have a few more pounds to take off.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;A. &lt;/b&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: x-small;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Drink more water and less pop&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: x-small;"&gt;This seems to go in waves for me. I have cut down on the amount of pop I drink. But I still would like to reduce the amount to drinking it every now and then.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: x-small;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;B.&lt;/b&gt; &lt;b&gt;Eat more veggies&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: x-small;"&gt;I also continue to struggle sometimes. But I find it is more the problem of not having them on hand sometimes. And seldomly I just really crave meat and that is all I eat. But we are eating more vegetables with meals. Tonight is lowfat hot sausage with baked sweet potato fries.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: x-small;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;C. &lt;/b&gt;&lt;b&gt;Exercise more&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: x-small;"&gt;Again I did really well for the 1st four months of the year but slacked of in the spring. I am not working to get my workout schedule set for the summer. So far I have lifting on Monday &amp;amp; Wednesday, cardio on Tuesday, Thursday &amp;amp; Friday,&lt;b&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/b&gt;Thursday is golf night and we walk, Saturday is tough because alot of the time I need to find a babysitter (sadly the gym does not have babysitting on Saturday mornings). It still needs some tweeking.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: x-small;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;3. &lt;/b&gt;&lt;b&gt;Make more time for myself &amp;amp; friends.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: x-small;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Sunday I took some me time and just sat on my porch and read magazines for about an hour &amp;amp; half. It was GREAT! I started golfing on Thursday nights in a women's league with my very good friend Elizabeth. I really look forward to it. Caleb and I have really trying to make "dates" with all our friends throughout the summer.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;4. &lt;/b&gt;&lt;b&gt;Train to run a 5K.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;I am not doing so well. As a matter of fact the race I wanted to run is this Saturday and I am not ready for it at all. I may still walk it. I have been mulling over whether or not I want to start training again or just go with spinning and Zumba my favorite activities and try to train again next year. We will see.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;5. Blog &lt;strike&gt;more&lt;/strike&gt; at least once a week.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;I have updated this goal. I have not blogged as much as I intiaitially intended to, but when I made these goals I was not a freelance blogger.&amp;nbsp;So I am blogging often at http://www.whattoexpect.com/blogs/mommythirtysomethingrookie/default.aspx, but I have been slacking of on blogging here. I even went during the week when I was on vacation from work. I am currently trying to figure out my summer workout schedule so I can get it on my calendar and to do list everyday. My SIL and I have even started to meet in the evening to walk with our children. So that is some extra exercise in my day no matter what. The reason that I have not settled on my workout schedule is the mommy guilt thing. I am already away from G. all day and then to be away from him for another 40mins/hour. But he would actually be going to the YMCA with me and hanging out in the babysitting area while I go to spinning or zumba. I know that I am setting a good example for my toddler but and that I am a better mom when I get to workout and relieve some stress. But I miss him. I will get it all worked out.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;As for my eating.....well not so good. I have been eating alot of junk food and eating massive quantities. The one night I even ate until I felt ill. Why am I doing this? Not sure but I do have some plans to an end to this mindless eating and over indulging. I have printed out a calendar for June. On that calendar I have planned out my dinners for the rest of the month. I have next week's lunches also planned out and have been thinking about breakfast. This way I eat more healthy and we also eat out a lot less. Along with planning our dinners and my lunch, I have tried to cook dinners that will have leftovers for my husband to take to work for his lunch. He is bad about packing lunches and then ends up eating fast food for lunch. Which is bad for him and of course it is not cheap to eat out all the time. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;So I am planning to put a hurting on all this mindless eating and get back to clean healthy eating with a little bit of the bad stuff. I have learned that depriving myself of something only makes the want stronger and then I eat more than I would if I would have just had some from the beginning. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;What are your fitness goals for the summer? And Weigh in</title><content type='html'>&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;So I had a great time at Zumba on Saturday. I Zumba-d for about an hour and a half and sweated so much. I'm not sure I ever sweated that much before. There were 48 women dancing and shaking it up for a good cause.&amp;nbsp; Sunday I took my son for a 2 mile walk. I tried to jog some of it but it was really hot (the hottest it has been this year) and I didn't have the energy. Yesterday I didn't get to workout during lunch because of a luncheon I had. So when I got home I put the baby in his pack-n-play, in the shade of course, and pulled weeds and picked up trash around our yard. After dinner I met my SIL for a 2 mile walk again with all the kids. Tonight I am going to take my son to the babysitting at the gym and get my weight lifting in. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;On Thursday my family is going to the lake for Memorial day weekend. I am very excited to go. It is a well needed getaway. I hope that G. does well sleeping in a new place. I am not sure if I will get much exercise in since I will be sitting on a boat most of the time. We will do the touristy thing one day with my mom so that will be some walking. I hope that my mom will watch G. so I can get a training session or 2 from my Couch to 5K plan.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today was Weight Watchers day so it was also WEIGH-IN day. I didn't gain or lose any weight this week. But that is ok because AF is in town. I loved every minute of it and can't wait to see her again in 3 weeks. I feel GREAT!!!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;This is exactly what I needed to get me back into my workout schedule. I'm excited for my 1.5 hour Zumba class on Saturday.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;Now I'm off to golf. We walk the course and it is sunny and 76 degrees! Especially after the ice cream I had over the weekend. I actually did pretty well with my eating until I discovered a new ice cream flavor at our local ice cream store. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;I have been searching the internet today for some motivation. I am not sure why I can't get started again. I was doing soooo well. I do feel punky again and my self-esteem has went down since I stopped working out. So I know in my head that I need to get back to exercising during my lunch hour. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;Then the eating I have not went terribly out of control with but I could cut back to help with my weight loss. I still have a few weeks until my son's birthday and I know I am not going to make my goal but I could and should be working on it and on my way to my goal. I can't seem to get myself back into my exercise routine. I have the best intentions and then when the time to actually workout arrives I don't do it. Like yesterday, I was going to go to the gym. But it was so nice outside, I thought I would go for a good walk instead. Nope I went to look at cakes for my son's 1st birthday party instead. What is wrong with me????&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;Next I have just wanted to eat everything. I am just not feeling full. This morning we were up early and I was ready early so I took Gaven for breakfast at McDonalds (by the way, his first trip to McD's). I ordered hotcakes and sausage and a milk for me. Gaven at one pancake and I ate the other two and the sausage and drank the milk. Right now I am drink crystal light and I am wanting something more. I must be going through some emotional thing because I am an emotional eater. But what is it. Things in my life are pretty good.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;I just have to get myself working out and that itself should help with whatever emotional thing I am going through. I went to my Weight Watchers meeting and weighed in. I was down 1.4lbs. I am now at a grand total weight loss of 25.2lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;Since I reached the 25lb weight loss mark I received a charm for my Weight Watchers keychain.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_rh9To9U-C-E/S-CAcLctr8I/AAAAAAAAAKo/mGVryFfVX1g/s1600/keychain.bmp" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" height="200" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_rh9To9U-C-E/S-CAcLctr8I/AAAAAAAAAKo/mGVryFfVX1g/s200/keychain.bmp" tt="true" width="148" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;The keychain you get when you lose 10% of your body weight. I will take my son &amp;amp; dog for a walk tonight and hit the gym tomorrow and of course golf on Thursday. I guess we will have to walk the course for the extra exercise. I have been just very busy with working extra hours, trying to have time with my family and my new blog. I haven't really gained much if any in the last couple of weeks but none-the-less, I feel guilty about it. It has actually been weeks since I ran which is not good. I had been being very faithful to my weight lifting. I have really done a 180 when it comes to weight lifting. I always felt like a fish out of water at the gym with weights but not that I have the trainer to show me what to do I really am enjoying it. But with me working extra hours, the baby being sick and my hubby sick. I haven't been to the gym in 2 weeks. Now I am not feeling well today so I am not sure that I will go today. I have my bag in the jeep so if I'm feeling better by lunch time I will go. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;I need to get back into my routine and also add some activity for extra calorie burn.&amp;nbsp; I want to get up in the morning to go to spinning but it is just so hard, but I am really going to try to make it tomorrow. I will set my clothes out tonight so when my alarm goes off I can just change quick and go. Or maybe I will even sleep in my gym clothes so there will really be no excuses.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;Recently my friend and I decided to join golf league. We did this the summer before I was pregnant and we really enjoyed our time together every week and had a good time golfing. We originally decided not to do league and that we would just get together every couple of weeks to golf. But my husband decided to golf on Tuesday instead Thursday and at the same golf course I used to golf league at. So he found out if there was still room for Ebeth and I to golf. So we start this Thursday! We are so excited!!! I would like to walk more this year for the extra exercise. Partially because in another month I won't get to workout on Thursday unless I get up in the morning to go. Next week I won't be able to workout on Monday because we are having a visit day program so I really won't get a lunch until the program is over and then it is a quick bit to eat and back to the office to get ready for round 2, the next program.&lt;/span&gt; Today I did small muscle groups during my lifting, Tuesday we are going to the driving range if the weather is nice&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;, Wednesday will be my 5k training and hopefully Zumba in the evening, Thursday I meet with my trainer and Friday I don't know yet, probably 5k training.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;After all it is April, therefore, the ticking of the clock is getting louder. I am feeling better and feeling better about the way I look. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Saturday we went golfing and I had some really good hits when I connected right with the ball. I am swing harder since I have more muscle now. So I am hoping to get some more golfing in this summer. I would like to go to the driving range once a week. That is something that we can do with Gaven because we can put him in his stroller and he can look around.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tuesday is weigh in day. I don't think I have lost. Especially after last weeks 2.6lb loss. But I ate alot and drank alot over the weekend so I can't expect a loss. But I am still here and working at my weight loss. Speaking of weight loss I lost another 2.6lbs this week. So I currently weight 149lbs. I am looking to loose about 15 more lbs until I start the maintenance part of Weight Watchers.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;I am really loving my lifting workouts. Sadly I have not been getting my training runs in but still look forward to doing them. It is supposed to be in the 70's for the next 3 days so I want to try to run outside tomorrow during my lunch break. I lifted today at lunch and I am going to a Zumba class tonight to make up for my missed workout on Monday when I stayed home with my sick little boy, he has another cold.&amp;nbsp; Friday I plan to go to the gym to lift and then on Saturday I am going to talk Gaven for a walk/run maybe and then Caleb and I are going golfing. I'm hoping we can get in 18 holes. &lt;strike&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: x-small;"&gt;I'll try to remember to take pictures, but I won't promise because I am bad at taking pictures.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strike&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;So back to my weight loss. Even though my counter says I lost 25lbs, I am technically .2lbs away from my 25lb loss. I am still outside of my suggested weight range for my petite frame. So I am going to lose 15 more pounds and see how I feel and determine if I want to lose more or start the maintenance. So I if I want to be at, or at least near, my goal weight by then I have to get working my butt off. And really watching what I eat, no more oops did I really just eat 1/2 dozen wings and drink 5 beers. Then she wore them to run on the treadmill one day and her legs hurt for 2 days afterwards. Now I am a flip flop girl. So I am thinking about getting the EasyTone Flip Flops.&lt;strike&gt; However, I am an Old Navy flip flop girl thus only paying $2.50 a pair. So $60 seems like alot.&lt;/strike&gt; Since I already wear flips all summer long why not get a pair that will work my legs too. What do you guys think? Do you have either one? Do you like them? I am feeling great and energized after my workout and looking forward to my 5k training run tomorrow and Friday. I have worked out more in the last week and a half. I still haven't got any running in but as long as I get a workout in I am happy. My session with my trainer was a kick but one. She gave me things that I could do at home if I can't get to the gym. It made me sweat and I loved it! They were simple things like backwards lunges while raising your arms, step up holding weights, standing side leg lifts, and so on. I'm ready to do it tomorrow.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;My big new is I &lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;lost another pound!&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;I am not really sure how I did it with the not so good eating choices I made. I think it is the lifting. The old saying...."Muscle burns more calories than fat"&lt;/span&gt;...Is my theory and I'm sticking to it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;This weight loss has given me a renewed attitude. I am excited to workout tomorrow and I am trying to figure out how I can get all my workouts in with all that is going on this week and weekend. I need to get some running in. I thought this week would help since it has been sorta back to normal for me.....but I was wrong.&amp;nbsp; I have only worked out 1day so far and I only worked out because I had a appointment with my trainer...&amp;nbsp; It was a great workout and I felt great after but I have not worked out since. Life has been crazy this week - so much to do so little time. Even my lunches have been crazy (this is when I usually get my workouts in).&amp;nbsp; Monday I didn't work, I was driving home from my parents house and had some running around when I got home to do. You would think since I didn't work I could find the time to get to the gym, but our local YMCA has weird babysitting ours so it just didn't work out for me to get there. Tuesday was Weight Watchers meeting. Wednesday I did get a full hour workout with my trainer. Thursday I had to Home Depot for paint samples for our remodeled bathroom. I am so excited about our bathroom, it is small and the changes we made have given us some more room without actually moving walls. Plus I am so happy to not have to clean the old tub. I am planning to go for a walk outside today since it is supposed to be in the 60's. So at least it will be some activity. I want to go to the gym in the morning to get a run in. Then it is house cleaning, going to a friends house, maybe a ride on the 4wheeler and lastly my nephew's 1st birthday party.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;But I want to get back into my schedule. The sun has been shinning for days and the temps have been in the 50's. Last night was my first night off and I had running around to do before leaving to go to my parents this weekend. I actually still have to run to the store and finish packing before we can leave. But I did got to the gym at lunch and got my lifting in. I am taking my running shoes and clothes so I am prepared if the weather permits. I don't like running in the rain unless it is 90 degrees out.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;My weigh in on Tuesday was a .8lb gain. I'm ok with that since TOM was visiting. So I can't complain. All those cookies that I over the weekend. I am hoping to see a 2lb, or close to, loss. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;I have been eating fairly good. I'm making sure I get more veggies and fruit in. This weekend will be tough at my parents between mom's cooking and eating out. We are going to the Cheesecake Factory! I haven't been there in years. My mom is good about getting the veggies in every meal, but not so good at cutting the fat down. I love my mom's cooking, but it is just not figure friendly all the time. My work schedule has picked up so I am putting more time in at the office, Gaven is still teething and as result ended up with an ear infection, trying to get workouts in, make time for girls night (that I haven't had in a while) and of course some time with the hubby. Blogging unfortunately was the first thing to go.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My workouts have been great, when I get them in. A few weeks ago on Saturday morning I met a friend at the gym for cardio ( 5k training) then we went to a Strength and Toning class. That was fun. Something different and it worked my muscles different. We also had a really nice, relaxing stretch at the end of the class. I actually ended up missing a whole week of workouts because I was so busy and tired. Gaven kept me up a couple nights and then working thru lunches, I just didn't get to the gym. But now things are not so busy at work (for the next couple of weeks) so I can get back to my workouts.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This weekend Gaven and I are heading to my folks house for a long weekend. They haven't seen him since Christmas. They can't wait for us to get home. So I am getting my lifting workouts in before I go so when I am there I can just lace up my sneakers and head outside for a run since the weather is getting nice. I am really looking forward to it. I am thinking about asking my parents to see if they want to take Gaven to the aquarium. I think he would enjoy it. If we go I will post some pics.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My eating has been all over the board. I eat really well some days and not so well others.  I have to get back to planning my meals for next week. This week I kind of winged it, which I know is not good, but I work tonight and tomorrow, so we need quick dinners and then Wednesday we can have a nice family dinner. I would like to start incorporating one vegetarian meal a week. But I am not sure how to do that. So any suggestions, please leave me comments. I do not like tofu so suggestions with that won't help. I have to get back on Weight Watchers program and track my meals to help the weight come off faster.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On a good note, I have still been able to loose weight, thanks to my workouts. I am now down 21.6lbs!!! I am getting closer to moving into the 140's. I am hoping to be there by the end of the month. I did not follow program at all. I have really been hungry all week. I am not sure why, other than I have been working out hard so maybe that could be part of it. But I haven't made good choices. Now haven't gone to crazy like eating a bag of chips &amp;amp; a whole container of dip (which I have done in the past). And of course there was Valentine's activities that included wine tasting, martinis and a&amp;nbsp;creamy&amp;nbsp;seafood pasta dish followed by a big breakfast with eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, bacon &amp;amp; venison. WOW&amp;nbsp;.....&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;Here is the really sad part, I don't know why I have been making bad choices, especially the ones that I know I am making and choice to eat anyway. A few were, "Oh crap the eggplant is bad, I don't have anything else to that isn't frozen to make." Then hubby says lets get Taco Bell and I even decide not to order from the Fresco menu. What is wrong with me???? I am not bored. Actually my life has been a little busy and getting busier with work. A side note, as I am sitting here typing I am eating lunch (that was catered today). I am eating a spinach dip of some kind that doesn't really taste all that good and I say to self "what are you doing it isn't that good" then I take another bit and I say "stop eating it! It doesn't taste good!" So I did stop eating it.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;I have been very motivated and want to workout. I have only missed one workout in 2 weeks. I look forward to my workouts and feel bummed/depressed when I can't workout. Like right now I normally would be at the gym during my lunch hour, but we have a visit program and there for we are not taking actual lunches, thus the catered lunch. So I am sitting here debating about going to the gym tonight at 8 after I get Gaven to sleep. So I haven't had much to say. I'm not really sure why I keep allowing myself to make bad eating&amp;nbsp;decisions. I guess maybe a its a little bit of stress and a little bit of depression. Now that TOM is completely gone, I am hoping I will snap out of this funk and start making better choices.I am&amp;nbsp;sabotaging&amp;nbsp;my weight loss efforts&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today was my personal trainer day and we had a great workout. I look forward to doing it again on Monday. Tomorrow is 5k training. Then rest day on Sunday, better known as family day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sorry for the quick email but I don't have a lot to say today and I am getting tired. But I try to hold off for as long as possible and then if I still want it then I will have it. For instance, I really want one of those new McDonald's Mac Snack Wrap, because I&amp;nbsp;HEART&amp;nbsp;Big Macs. But I very rarely eat them. Now I can have it with out so much guilt.&amp;nbsp; There are still alot of calories &amp;amp; fat in it (330 calories and 19g fat). Before I was a mom I worked almost every Saturday during the Academic year. But now that I am a mom, I much rather be home on the weekends.&amp;nbsp; But thankfully I get paid overtime, got to buy new carseats.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I didn't get to workout other than doing my ab routine. Since I had to work, my husband was out of town, so I had to get a babysitter I didn't want to leave him with a sitter for longer than I had to. Our local YMCA does not offer babysitting on the weekends. So we packed in some mommy &amp;amp; Gaven. We went grocery shopping, ate lunch, watched baby Einstein and got ready for my MIL surprise birthday party. Then we declared Sunday "family pajama day". It was great. I stayed in my pajamas until about 4 when we were getting ready to go to a Super Bowl Party. We ate a late breakfast of pancakes and maple sausage. I took a couple of naps and played with Gaven.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My eating was not great either. I did try to compensate by eating less through out the day. Friday night I went to Perkins after our church gathering with my SIL &amp;amp; MIL. We shared a sampler platter of deep fried food. Needless to say, I won't be eating deep fried food again anytime soon. It went right threw me. I think my body was not used to the fried food since it had been quite a while since I had it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So today I got back on the wagon and worked out. It was a bit of a challenge today, because I had to move my lunch since I had a 12:30 meeting. Then once I got to the gym, I realized that the weight room was closed for the football team to workout. I did not pack the right sports bra to run in, forgot a towel &amp;amp; my new iPhone arm band, and was just all out of sorts now. But I was there and that was half the battle. So I decided to get on the recumbent bike for 15mins and the elliptical for 10 and finish up with my ab routine. Not nearly the calorie burn that I would have had if I had ran or lifted. But I still worked out and that is the important part.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tonight is family time again because I have to work tomorrow night. I'm making eggplant parmigiana. I DID IT! I DID IT!!!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;I did workout 4.1 which is 5min warm-up, run 3, walk 1:30, run 5, walk 2:30, run 3, walk 2:30, run 5 and 5 min cool down! I was so nervous and worried that I couldn't do it and I did it!!!! I'm sorry this may seem very small and insignificant but I am happy and proud of myself for this accomplishment.&lt;br /&gt;And I feel good!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;I ran on the indoor track today instead of the treadmill. I think I like that better.&amp;nbsp; So next week I will run on the track again. To see if I really like it. It was nice to see one of my co-workers running laps around me (she ran track in high school &amp;amp; college). It gave me motivation. Then we stretched together and had a nice little walk back to the office.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tonight is girls night out at our church. They cook dinner and we watch a movie. So I have no idea what we will be eating. Or watching for that matter. Then tomorrow I work 8:30 to 1 surprise 50th birthday party for my MIL and work again 9:30-10:30pm. I have declared Sunday as pajama day until it is time to go to the Super Bowl party. Actually my husband will probably try to talk me into going to breakfast Sunday morning.&amp;nbsp; So no workouts planned for the weekend. Since we are so busy on Saturday and hubby will be gone from early morning until the birthday party I don't want to ask someone else to watch Gaven longer than he will already be babysat while I am at work. But I intend on doing my ab ladder workout both days. So at least there is something. Maybe if the baby naps I'll do some cardio on the Wii.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Have a great weekend everyone! Gaven had to go to a different sitter today so I was of course running late. My morning went pretty fast. I went to gym at lunch time to lift. My workout was not easy but it seemed to just flow and before I knew it, I was done. I don't feel as sore after lifting like I did the first day. The after noon was kind of slow. Then I went home to cook dinner, feed the baby, do laundry, wash dishes, feed the baby, put the baby to bed and then take a bath and read.&amp;nbsp; That darn baby makes my life so wonderful!!!! His first sled riding experience. He loved being pulled around but when we stopped he wanted to either move or be picked up. I can't wait for the weather to start getting nice so I can put him in his stroller and take him for walks or runs. And for the first time in a while, I didn't want to go workout at lunch. Actually, this is the first time since I started my 5k training that I have not wanted to work out. But I talked with Amanda (college student at work) who is an avid runner and she gave me the motivation I needed. I dragged my but to the gym and did my training. Now I must have been day dreaming because i missed my first segment of running. But the rest of my workout was really good. Now I have to go home and do my ab workout while I make dinner.&amp;nbsp; Gaven should have fun with it since I'll lay beside him while he plays with his toys. I just hope that he is not as cranky as he was for my husband last night. The meeting went well and we talked about forgiving yourself for making "bad" choices and getting right back on program, not letting it create a snowball effect. I lost a pound. YEAH!!!! I was so happy to have lost weight after the weekend of making "poor choices" in food. Speaking of food, since my hubby and baby are not and home&amp;nbsp;last night&amp;nbsp;I stopped at Taco Bell for dinner. I haven't ate there in a month? And I ate very well&amp;nbsp;yesterday and had several points left for the day, I thought why not. I knew I would be getting in some exercise&amp;nbsp;on my rest day. I ate off the Fresco menu. Two Chicken ranchero soft tacos and a side of rice all for 8pts.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"&gt;So last night&amp;nbsp;I had a date night with my friend Amber&amp;nbsp; This is a picture of Amber and I from my bachelorette party 8/08. I used the routine that Nakia set up for me. (i'll take a picture next time of the weight room.) Now you have to imagine the "scary"&amp;nbsp; place that my weight room is. I work at a college, use the gym during my lunch hour; so there are all these college boys in the weight room and I just found out that the football team just started their spring lifting during the time I workout.  A little intimidating to walk into the weight room with all these college boys. But I just turned up my iPod and in I went and I kept my head down. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am starting the lifting for a number of reasons. 1. I want/need to get stronger so I can keep carrying my son around. He is getting heavy. 2. To change my body after the pregnancy. 3. It will help my running. Strengthening my leg muscles and hips should help make running easier on my body. I also still need to work on my breathing while running so I don't get so winded during my runs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The rest of my day went well. I am still not looking forward to my weigh in tomorrow. I haven't really tracked my meals since Friday. And TOM should be here any day now. I even had a doughnut today. I was looking for something to eat. The dinner I made was a Weight Watchers recipe, it was good, only 5 points per serving. I'll eat the leftovers for lunch later this week. But I think I am going to do this workout one more time until I start week 5. Week 5 training has 5 minute runs in it. But I&amp;#39;d did feel better bout saturdays workout. And I am glad I did my workout.  &lt;p&gt;Now on the eating side of things. TOM will be visiting in a few days. So I have been hungry &amp;amp; having carb cravings. Therefore I ate poorly this weekend. I need to get back on the wagon this week and lose some pounds next week. I need to dig dip &amp;amp; say no to cravings &amp;amp; emotional eating. Work has me running like a chicken with my head cut off. At least, it makes the day go faster and I much rather be busy then bored at work. Sometimes it is just feast or famine in our office. Then I am stressing about going out tonight with our son. We are going to a golf dome and then dinner. Which normally I would be all for but Gaven is an 8 o'clock baby. He is ready for bed, its like he shuts down. I worry about him acting up. He is normally such a good baby and bedtime is really the only "schedule" I like to stick to. I want to just stay home and snuggle with him but my husband will be very mad at me. I was playing with Gaven and making dinner and cleaning up and showering and never even thought about it until I was in my pjs and in bed. So no Biggest Loser for me, at least not today.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today I worked out with a personal trainer for the first time. I already have an exercise that I hate, ball squats. She kicked my but and I am going to be a hurting girl. Sore muscles please come see me. I am going to go do my 5k training tomorrow and then grocery shopping first thing in the morning. At the top of my shopping list is Epsom salts to soak in when I get home from shopping. But I enjoyed working out today with Nakia. I won't meet with her for another 2 weeks but she mapped out a workout schedule with me until I see her. So on Monday I will do the lifting workout she gave me all by myself. I can do it!!!!! I normally feel like a fish out of water when it comes to lifting. I have just never felt comfortable. So I am hoping that working out with her will help me become comfortable in the weight room. Lunch time has been my workout time for the last month or so. I NEED to get on the Wii tonight. After all, I did get the Biggest Loser game for the Wii and have not been using it. I could do an ab workout with Jillian. I will probably pay for it tomorrow. Speaking of tomorrow, I have my first session with personal trainer, Nakia. I am very excited. She is going to make me sweat and I will be sore for the weekend, I am sure. I added the weight loss ticker to my blog. I have been ashamed of my weight and have not really talked about how much I want to lose or the actual numbers. Now that I put the ticker up I feel free, like the chains have been taken off. So now I am going to go ahead and tell my weight. I feel that this is one step in the battle of keeping the weight off and making the life style change.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;Tuesday was WEIGH IN DAY&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I was not looking for a big loss since I lost 2.6 pounds last week. So I was happy with the .4 pound loss. Since I made my 10% boby weight loss, I have started to really look forward to getting out of the 150's. Only 5.1lbs to go and I will be in the 140's. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;Biggest Loser....&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;First off, this is my all time FAVORITE show. Last night I was busy getting ready for my Tupperware party tonight so I didn't get to see all of the show. I tried to just do things during the commercials but I kept missing parts. Plus I was furious that the red team won the first challenge, I didn't even see what they had to do to win. Then I felt some payback when the grey team won the second challenge for immunity!!!! As for the person that got voted off, I was ok with (don't want to spoil it for those who haven't watched yet). This team has the biggest chip on their shoulder than I have ever seen. So I wasn't happy to see them leave but wasn't sad either.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: large;"&gt;On to today...&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So I had a bad nights sleep. I was tired all morning and was dreading my workout today, but still wanted to do it. So I had at my chicken salad with grapes at 11 so there was time for digestion and right before I went over to the gym I had 2 FRS energy chews. I realized today that the 90second runs are much easier than they were last week, but the 3 minute runs are DAMN hard. Again I have never been a runner. But I do look forward to the training and I think I am starting to enjoy it even though it is still hard. I don't run very fast and I suck wind big time on the 3 minute sessions. I think I am going to add an extra day to this weeks training because next week has 5 minute sessions in it. With that said, I was really anticipating that this work or was going to be tough, running for 3 hole minutes with out a stopping..... Well I got threw the 1st circuit but the 2nd one I had to bring the pace down to a fast walk for 20 seconds, but I finished the workout. Now I have the confidence that I can and will do better on Wednesday.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So the weekend proved again to be a tough one food wise for me. I wend out to dinner twice therefore used quite a bit of my flex points. Actually this week they are almost all gone. But I still feel good about the week.&amp;nbsp; I added a few 10 minute workouts through out the week. I did some ab exercised and used my hand weights to do some upper body toning. Even though I had a few high point meals, I got right back to eating better at the next meal.&amp;nbsp; So that made me happy. I didn't just blow it for an entire day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have however noticed a pattern starting. The last 2 Friday nights my husband has been gone, so it is just Gaven and I at home. I look forward to Friday nights and spending time with Gaven after working all week. But the other thing that had happened the past to Fridays is that I have eaten more. I don't know if it is that I am eating fewer calories during the week and hunger is setting in or it is that I get bored after Gaven goes to bed and I am just eating to have something to do.&amp;nbsp; My husband will not be home again this Friday, so I am going to try to be better about not eating so much and to see if it is that I am actually hungry or that I am bored. Was breathing hard today. Then just as I started to think that I was getting tired and wanting to be done, I realized that I was almost done with the workout. I was pleasantly surprised by this. I finished the entire week with out having to much trouble. I won't lie and say I'm excited about next week. Actually I am feeling a little nervous right now about running longer next week. I think I can....I think I can....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Next week I will add lifting weights to my workout plan. I am going to workout out with a trainer. I have worked out with Nakia before. Nakia is great, I really enjoy working with her. She works me hard and we have fun.&amp;nbsp; By doing this, I will slow down my progress a little with the Couch to 5k because now I will devote 2 days to running and 2 days to lifting. Once in a while I may get to the gym on the weekend to add a run, but right now I am only working out during the week on my lunch break. It is easiest for me to devote the time to. I have a hard time going home after work and then going back out to gym, I just want to stay home and spend the time with my son. Since I work, my evenings &amp;amp; weekends with him are very important to me. He is only an infant once and he is already growing to fast. I can't believe he is 8 months already.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As far as my eating, I am happy with how the week has gone. I have been packing very good lunches. I have cooked more Weight Watcher friendly meals. I have my dinners planned out for next week, but still have to decide on lunches. I am really making a life style change and eating healthier all the time.&amp;nbsp; I still indulge a little from time to time and I am looking forward the Hank's opening this summer and having a black raspberry custard cone. So lucky and cursed, to have such good ice cream close to home.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Have a great weekend! Today's training was tiring for me .I ran all the times I was supposed and didn't feel like quitting.&amp;nbsp; I made it through but felt pretty tired afterwards.&amp;nbsp; When I got back to my office and had to climb 3 flights of stairs, because I chose not to take the elevator, I was wiped out.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then I ate my lunch so now I feel better, not exhilarated but not so drained.&amp;nbsp; I have noticed that on the days I am stressed at the office, my runs "feel" much easier than other days. Is this normal? So I haven't decided if I will run tomorrow too or wait until Friday.&amp;nbsp; I will probably not workout all weekend. Well I take that back. Yesterday at my Weight Watchers meeting, the leader issued a challenge that we all get moving for 10minutes, more than the norm. So yesterday, I used my hand weights and did some upper body stuff. Tonight I am going to do an ab workout.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As I sit here and type, keep thinking how great it would be to get a &lt;i&gt;little&lt;/i&gt; obsessive about working out. I did that once before and I really like how I looked. Now I do realize that being obsessive can also be bad, but I figure as long as I don't go overboard it will be fine.&amp;nbsp; Working out in general makes me feel better emotional and physically....duh that is what everyone says. But it is true, I feel more cuddly, sexy, confident when I have worked out. I have now made it to my first goal of losing 10% of my body weight. Woot woot!!!! That was the push I needed to get motivated again and continue to work at eating good, filling foods and exercise. They work, even really really well sometimes. I am so excited that I am bursting at the seams.&amp;nbsp; I now get to go purchase myself an iTunes gift card, so that i can get some new playlists! Looks like Gaven and I will be going to Giant Eagle after I pick him up, then it is Gaven and Mommy time to celebrate (my husband won't be home for a while tonight). I think we will turn the music on and do some dancing. He loves to be held and dancing.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So now it is on to my next goal to lose another 10lbs by the end of March. There are going to be some challenges in February. I work at a private college, so spring semester is really busy with overnight visit programs. They are very time consuming and labor intensive, but they are rewarding when you find out students that visited during these programs deposited, but I digress.&amp;nbsp; So getting in my workouts during my lunch hour will be very important and/or getting up in the morning to workout will also help. I started week two of Couch to 5k on Friday.  The training is running 90 seconds and walking 2 minutes repeating for a total of 20 minutes. I really wanted to walk thru one of the 90 seconds sessions but I pushed thru. I didn't get to workout today. We were busy at work and I only took half hour lunch. So on Wednesday I will do week 2 day 2 training. &lt;br /&gt;I have been doing better with my eating. I did use some, but not all, of my 35 extra points and none of my activity points. Last week I used ALL of my 35 extra points and ALL of my activity points, so i am hoping to see a loss on the scale tomorrow when I weigh in. I am so close to my 10% weight loss, I can almost feel it. I'm hoping that by eating better and working out I will lose the 1.2lbs I need to make the 10% weight loss. &lt;br /&gt;I have set a reward of an iTunes gift card to purchase more play lists once I do meet my 10% loss. I think my next goal will be to lose 10 more pounds. As for the reward, I am thinking either a new workout clothes or a pedicure. What do you think?&lt;br /&gt;I am still trying to get the courage to post a pick of me here to show my weight loss. Hopefully soon I will have the courage. Don't get me wrong I don't completely hate the way I look but pictures don't help your self esteem. My friends &amp;amp; coworkers have been great in complementing me and I thank them for that. But to put a picture up I am really putting myself out there. I actually did my training for day 3 last night, I was feeling tired last evening so I walked one of the jogging sessions. Afterwards I was upset that I just didn't run it. I wasn't so tired that I couldn't jog for 60seconds.&amp;nbsp; So today I was not feeling ready to move on to week 2 so I repeated week 1, day 3 workout. I jogged for all the sessions I am supposed to and I felt pretty good today.&amp;nbsp; So I feel better now and ready to move on. So week 2 training, I will see you on Friday.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This week I have started to change my eating habits some and have tried really hard to eat more veggies &amp;amp; fruit.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I have done very well the last 2 days and am feeling good about adding the veggies. I am hoping that this will give me or energy and stamina for my training.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yesterday was weigh in day. I did not lose any weight but I did not gain any weight, either. That would be because I did workout last week, but I also ate "badly". We ate breakfast out twice, had pizza twice, and order chicken wings one night.&amp;nbsp; Also our pasta night turned out to be a not so good idea. I overate that night and felt bad about it. But I am sticking with my new motto: "Tomorrow is a new day and a new beginning to start over".&amp;nbsp; I know that I will never be able to eat cleanly ALL the time, that is just a recipe for failure if I think I can. So when I have slip ups I get right back on track as soon as possible. Sometimes it will be the next meal and sometimes it will be the next day. I am going to try not to beat myself up for "bad" eating. I was down and out until really today. So I am a little behind but I started Couch to 5K today!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_rh9To9U-C-E/S0TcbO9pWOI/AAAAAAAAAHE/vNspfQ4pz44/s1600-h/5k.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_rh9To9U-C-E/S0TcbO9pWOI/AAAAAAAAAHE/vNspfQ4pz44/s320/5k.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I found the Couch to 5k application for my iPhone. It is really neat. I start my playlist then start the 5k app and the app speaks over my playlist telling "start your warm up," "run now," "walk now," "halfway through", "1 minute left" and start your cooldown. It is really great! You train 3x a week for I believe it is 9 weeks. If you are thinking about starting a running program I recommend it. So&amp;nbsp;week 1s&amp;nbsp;training is 60 seconds of running and 90 seconds of walking&amp;nbsp;with warm up and cooldown for a total of 30 minutes. I think I did pretty well.&amp;nbsp;After the halfway point I had to skip one of the running sessions and continue to walk. But I finished all&amp;nbsp;the rest. So my goal for the next&amp;nbsp;2 workouts is to make it the whole way through.&amp;nbsp;One little problem I had today with my workout was that I forgot a towel to&amp;nbsp;dry off&amp;nbsp; with after my shower...I had to use my shirt to dry off...haha.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have planned my dinners for the next week and half. I used weight watchers recipes to make sure they are healthy and lower in calories.&amp;nbsp; Tonight I will pack my gym bag so it is ready to go for Friday's workout, and I will pack a towel this time. I also have to think about a few things that I should have in my gym bag. I already have my hand sanitizer and hair ties. I probably should have hairspray, lotion, brush and so on....I think I am going to need a bigger bag!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is really great that I work at a college that has a really nice gym that I can workout on my lunch break. It should help me get more workouts in, to speed up my weight lose.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am going to make my 10% weight loss goal by my next weigh on Tuesday!!!! I let myself eat what I wanted &amp;amp; even have seconds. Tonight has been the worst, I may have hit rock bottom. I was eating everything tonight in an attempt to clean my house of the trigger foods. Tomorrow I am throwing away what is left that I didn&amp;#39;t eat. But one good thing I have done, I have used my new biggest loser Wii game &amp;amp; worked out 2 days this week. I have plans to go to the gym &amp;amp; use the Wii again. So I need to find my inner strength &amp;amp; motivation to kick my weight lose into high gear. Tomorrow is a new day &amp;amp; a fresh start. My hopes will be that I will be more accountable and stick with some of the harder goals I have set for myself. I plan to check in at least once a week, with an update.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So lets start here by me writing out my Goals:&lt;br /&gt;1. Be the best mom &amp;amp; wife, I can be.&lt;br /&gt;2. Take better care of myself.&lt;br /&gt;A. Drink more water and much less pop.&lt;br /&gt;B. Eat more veggies.&lt;br /&gt;C. Exercise more.&lt;br /&gt;3. Make more time for myself &amp;amp; my&amp;nbsp;friends.&lt;br /&gt;4. Train to run a 5K. (Couch-to-5K running plan - &lt;a href="http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml"&gt;http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml&lt;/a&gt;)&lt;br /&gt;5. Blog more&lt;br /&gt;6. Have more date nights with my husband&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Georgia;"&gt;I know that I have to take better care of myself so that I am a better wife and Mom. My son is 7 months old so I have started working on losing weight and making time for myself to work out. I have already lost 15lbs. I am really enjoying when I can combine working out and meeting with my friends. In the pass few months my self esteem has been low because of the weight that I need to lose. I have almost lost all my pregnancy weight, but had put on weight in the months prior to getting pregnant. I really want to get back to the weight I was when I met my husband. Plus I will be in better shape, if we decide to have another child.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Georgia;"&gt;Well I plan to get started next week after Christmas with my 5K training.
